Brazil ~ Emas National Park - UNESCO ~

... Great new National Park to add to my collection💚... Emas National Park nestled in the heart of the country is home to the best preserved pure grassland type of cerrado vegetation... due to its length, integrity of habitat, richness of fauna and presence of rare and threatened species, the reserve is one of the most untouched protected areas of the cerrado biome... the park holds the greatest concentration of Blue-and-Yellow Macaws outside Amazonia... and the world's largest concentration of termite mounds... the luminous glowing termite mounds (due to the Headlight Beetle larvae) as show on the main stamp are an impressive natural phenomenon exclusive to this National Park... Thanks Rodrigo!ăƒœ(•‿•)ノ
