... Beautiful view of Macau’s Portuguese, colonial legacy... the most significant public space in Macau and one of its icons... this large square, which is actually triangular in shape, was a social hub as far back as the late 16th century, and now is a meeting place for locals and tourists... with unusual wave-patterned mosaic cobbles in front of the classical Portuguese-style houses in pink and yellow... Thanks Phoebe!! (ô‿ô)

With great stamps:20th International Firework Competition (Issued 01.10.2008), Automat stamp World Heritage edition 2009 and energy saving stamp (Issued 05-06-2002)
Macau was a Portuguese colony and both the first and last European colony in China.
The Ruins of St. Pauls refer to the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640 and the ruins of St Paul's College; destroyed by fire in 1835. Since then the reamining facede and the front steps becames the world's famous ruins. Today, the ruins are one of Macau's most famous landmarks.
In 2005, they were officially enlisted as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Centre of Macau.
