Aspire Park is a park located in Aspire Zone, Doha, Qatar. It covers an area of 88 hectares, and it is Doha's biggest park. The park has different features as well such as beautiful fountains, playgrounds for children, and other fun features and  it has the only lake in Qatar.

The Aspire Tower (or Torch Tower)served as an emblem of the 15th Asian Games hosted by Qatar in 2006. It has 51 floors and it is 300 meters tall.

 Doha (literally: "the big tree") is the capital city of the state of Qatar. It is Qatar's largest city, with over 60% of the nation's population residing in Doha or its surrounding suburbs.

Let starts this week with finally after so long bad weather a sunny day and a great card with nice bird stamps from a "Hard-to-get" country Qatar. Its my second one from there...

Souq Waqif is an important souq in Doha, in the state of Qatar. Literally translated to "the standing market," this shopping destination is renowned for selling traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs. It is also home to tens of restaurants serving cuisines from all over the world, as well as Shisha lounges. Although this market dates back at least a hundred years, it has been recently restored back to its original glory. It is now considered one of the top tourist destinations within Doha.
