St. KITTS and NEVIS ~ Jessup Bay - Nevis ~

... Another fantastic Caribbean beauty♥ and my first from Nevis... so, yippee😎 one more new place to add to my collection... fishing boats at Pinney's Beach... Nevis's beaches are its crowning glory... known for its soft, saffron-colored sand, miles of clear waters, ideal for swimming and sunbathing, snorkeling and scuba diving... the lush, verdant foliage that lines the beach adds to the sense of tropical paradise... towering palm trees sway gracefully in the warm Caribbean breeze... this hidden gem, nestled in the heart of the Caribbean, is a true oasis of peace and natural wonder... Big Thanks Diego! (✿◠‿◠)

Nevis is the smaller of the two islands that make up the Caribbean island nation, Saint Kitts and Nevis. A former British colony, these islands became independent from Britain in 1983. There are no cities in Nevis, the settlements are mostly villages only the capital Charlestown counts as a town.

St. Kitts and Nevis are separated by a 2-mile wide channel known as "The Narrows". Several ferries run every day between Charlestown, the capital of Nevis, and Basseterre, which is the capital of St. Kitts.
