...  Lovely postcard nr5 from Dustin's vacation😊... a 360-degree breathtaking and impressive panorama from the rooftops of the city to the mountain peaks on the horizon from the massive Hohensalzburg Fortress located atop the hill... right in the centre of Salzburg's "Old Town"you'll find the impressive Baroque Cathedral... the most important Italian monumental building north of the Alps... I did rub the right stamp as you mentioned and yes, it really has a menthol smell👍... Austria Post had issued to commemorate an Age old brand "Diana with Menthol" a special stamp enhanced with a Menthol scented varnish as part of the "Classical trademarks" series... Salzburg is a city in central Austria, at the northern edge of the Alps and the capital city of the federal state of Salzburg.  The city is divided by the river Salzach. On the left side of the Salzach you will find the "Oldtown" of Salzburg underneath the Mönchsberg and the Hohensalzburg Fortress. The "New Town" lies on the right side of the river and is south of the Kapuzinerberg. 

The Historic Centre of Salzburg was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
