... Great aerial view of Lake Geneva (official name Lac Léman) West Europe's largest Alpine lake... the lake is majestic in size and is a unique destination as the Sea in the Mountain... surrounded by the Swiss and French Alps and the Jura... the shores of the lake are home to many picturesque villages, towns and cities with both Switzerland and France owning shoreline... clean to swim in, good to sail on, and picturesque at all times of the year... a boat trip is probably the most beautiful way to experience the Lake... Geneva is the capital of the Republic and is a cosmopolitan city that combines a rich history with a vibrant culture... located at the southern end of the Lac Léman... Thanks Madeleine!【ツ】
