... Pretty nature view... the park is one of the oldest protected wilderness areas in the country... located in the foothills of the Andes... in a rainforest full of araucarias which is affectionately known as the monkey puzzle... this massive tree reaches a height of 80 m and can live more than 3,000 years... considered sacred by the Mapuche which are the indigenous inhabitants of this region... the seeds of the tree were often harvested as a source of food... the park is also known for its breathtaking mountainous landscapes, where hills and valleys contain numerous lakes and lagoons... its name in Mapuche means "place of messengers", which refers to the sounds of the forest one can hear throughout the park... with many wonderful stampsđ... Thanks a lot Hernan!¯\_(ă)_/¯
