... View of the Ohel Jakob synagogue... the main synagogue for the Jewish community in Munich... its prayer hall is designed for 600 people... it is located in an unusual building with a regular cubic shape... this unusual structure of the building has a symbolic meaning... its lower part is made of stone... it symbolizes the Wailing Wall... the upper part is made of glass... it is reminiscent of traditional "Ohel" tents... the Jews used them during their wanderings in the desert... with stamp "International Holocaust Memorial Yad Vashem 70th anniversary" and special first day postmark... Thanks a lot Dustin!【ツ】
