THAILAND ~ Grand Postal Office - Bangkok ~

... Nice art view of the former General Post Office Building... the building is now office to the Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC)... inside is one section still an active post office in a huge hallway while another section is a small Museum which showcase the coronation of Kings... it also has 2 upscale restaurants at either end... but I do like the backside of this postcard even more🤩... with 8 wonderful stamps used... Thanks a lot Ravindra! ❀◕ ‿ ◕❀

Opened on 24 June 1940 on the former site of the British Legation, it was designed by architects Sarot Sukkhayang and Mew Aphaiwong in a mixture of Art Deco and International Style architecture which reflected the desire of the ruling People's Party to project a modern and powerful image of the state.
