... View of one of the most beautiful and picturesque hidden villages of Spain... this small Pyrenean town is one of the most unknown geographic curiosities of Spain... although it belongs to a municipality in Catalonia, its dependence on Andorra is very marked... it is a "practical exclave" because the only road out goes through Andorra... the fact that it was one of the most isolated Spanish villages during the last century almost made it disappear... however, it managed to survive... its particular location and the good preservation of its huddled houses have helped it become a great tourist destination nowadays... this village with around 150 inhabitants has a number of medieval buildings, including a Romanesque church...Thanks a lot Josep &Assumpta!
