... View of one of the largest malls in Thailand...  Bangkok has a fantastic selection of huge modern shopping centers with hip international and Asian fashion design brands... Central World is divided into four “wings” full of shops, cafes, and restaurants... you will also find beauty salons, banks, mobile stores,  cinemas and an awesome supermarket on the top floor, and even an ice-skating rink (The Rink)... it is so big that it even has cars and motorbikes on display and for sale... only two shopping malls on the list of 10 largest malls are located outside Asia... the one we have in Europe are mostly far from the tourist areas and they are usually only for locals to shop... Photo: ThongChai Laokittichok CentralWorld  the eight-story mall was opened in 1990. It is the eleventh largest shopping complex in the world. The complex, which includes a hotel and office tower, is owned by Central Pattana.

In 2006, after three years of design and renovation, CentralWorld was expanded to 550,000 m2  of shopping mall and 830,000 m2 of complex.
