GERMANY ~ Rose Window - Brunswick Cathedral ~

... Wonderful "Rose glass stained window" located in the west facade of the cathedral... designed by Heinz Hindorf, one of the premier stained glass artists of the 20thC... it's made of a series of smaller windows radiating out from the center like wheel spokes or flower petals... their symbolism lies in geometry and the sense that many parts make a whole... every element has a degree of meaning... with beautiful "matching" stained glass window Christmas stamp and lovely special postmark!! Thanks a lot Dustin!!
