GUATEMALA ~Semuc Champey - Alta Verapaz ~

... Stunning nature view of one of the countries best natural wonders... birds eye view of a breathtaking nature reserve hidden among the mountains of Guatemala from the platform called "El Mirador"...  Semuc Champey is a 300m bridge of limestone rock and the Cabahón river actually runs underneath it... but, over the millenia, the water that does spill over the rock has carved a series of cascading pools into the limestone, filled with crystal clear turquoise water and countless waterfalls... it is almost impossible to imagine that this fairytale place was created naturally... between the pools, the unique rock formations and rich nature around you is it the perfect spot to go swimming, tubing, or caving... and once more with a selection of great stamps... Big Thanks Diego for these amazing postcards!ヽ(•‿•)ノ
