... Nice nature views of old-growth beech forests nicknamed the "Wooden Cathedral of Rarăului" or the "Forest Forgotten by Time"... large quantities of dead wood and an abundance of old trees characterise the forests as particularly natural... most of the spruces are between 300 and 400 years old and reach a height of 60 meters... this reserve is very important as it is believed that it contains the oldest, tallest and thickest spruce and fir trees in Romania that also hosts the largest remains of primeval and ancient forests of Europe... Thanks a lot Catalina!❀◕ ‿ ◕❀
