GERMANY ~ St Lambert's Church - Münster ~

... Nice view of the Gothic church in the heart of the city.... a great landmark, beautiful outside and also inside with a big organ.... the spire is unusual as it's see through...  the Church has also a very gruesome history... there are three steal cages attached to the tower of the church... in these cages, the dead bodies of the leaders of the Anabaptist movement were put on display by the Archbishop after their execution as an example to all... the Ana Baptiste story makes this church the most important in Munster... in 1987 the church installed three yellow bulbs in each of the cages to be lit from dusk until dawn each night in memory of their departed souls... with special postmark celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the  musician Max Reger’s Birth (1873 – 1916)... Thanks a lot Dustin!【ツ】
