The Rothenbaum World Cultural Museum, is located in Hamburg (MARKK) and was founded in 1847.
Today the museum is home to permanent collections featuring cultural items from around the world, and special exhibitions examining what it means to be human, and what we mean when we speak about culture.
The approximately 350,000 objects in the collection are visited every year by about 180,000 visitors.
