HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my postcard friends🎉...thank you all for putting a smile on my face all year long💖... starting 2020 the way as I ended 2019... with a great postcard and wonderful cute stamp and special postmark from my dear postcard friend Dustin... view of a unique museum that looks to the future... with exhibitions and forums centered around questions like: how do we want to live in the future and how should we live in the future?... visitors will be able to see 3D printers and robots in action through labs and workshops... the fantastic "Pippi Longstocking" stamp and special postmark👍 brings back sweet childhood memories😍... I loved reading her books (still have one) and watching TV series about her adventures, a rebels, super-strong, redheaded little girl with her best friends Tommy and Annika, Horse and monkey... tomorrow cute stamp nr2 from the "Childhood Series"😊... Futurium is housed in an exceptional, modern piece of architecture located on the bank of Berlin’s River Spree, framed by the Reichstag and the new central station and was opened in September 2019
.
It is on three floors and has around 3,200 m2 of exhibition space.

The facade consists of more than 8,000 cassette panels. Each of these panels of around one metre consists of differently folded metal reflectors and ceramic-printed cast glass. They create an iridescent cloud effect that changes according to the incidence of light.
