RUSSIA ~ Dormition Cathedral - Vladimir - UNESCO ~

... Wonderful winter scene of a historical and cultural monument... a city's landmark and symbol of ancient Russian architecture... located on a cliff overlooking the Klyazma River in the "The Golden Circle" with some of Russia’s most beautiful religious buildings... this grand limestone church was expanded over time... a very impressive site, with its belltower and five golden domes and its richly painted and gilded interior....  this cathedral is one of the few temples with preserved frescoes of Andrei Rublev... Thanks a lot Oleg!【ツ】
