GERMANY ~ Tree Top Trail - Bad Harzburg ~

Nice postcard promoting the Tree Top Trail... the trail is located just outside the Harz National Park and offers magnificent views into the park... discover the nature of the Harz, from a completely new perspective... it gives an insight into the exciting flora and fauna of the northernmost low mountain range in Germany... you will learn interesting things about the local timber industry, nature and the environment... the trail is open all year round... and as always with a lovely special postmark to celebrate the 950th anniversary of the town Bad Harzburg... The "Baumwipfelpfad Harz" or Tree Top Trail is located in the town of Bad Harzburg at the northern edge of Harz National Park and was opened in 2015.

The Tree Top Trail runs for a kilometer through the forest and is set 22 meters above the ground with 18 platforms, bridges and 33 viewing stations.
