The Isle of Mull is the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland and is the fourth largest Scottish island.
Tobermory (meaning “Mary’s Well”) is the capital of the Isle of Mull. The city was built as a fishing port in the late 18th century on a design by Thomas Telford. The town curves around the harbour and rises into the hillside beyond.
