Lebanon is located in the Middle East and is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, Syria and Israel. Beirut is the capital city and a major port. Lebanon is a small country with a varied landscape consisting of beaches, mountains, valleys, forests and woodlands.

Simply known as "The Cedars", this resort settlement in Lebanon's highest range is one of the most dramatically beautiful spots in the country. Its centerpiece is an ancient grove of cedars, a tree synonymous for millennia with Lebanon itself.

The Cedars tree, majestic and indestructible, is the emblem of Lebanon and adorns its flag.
