With great stamp!Croatian Post has released a commemorative postage stamp dedicated to the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Croatia, which will occur on the 4 and 5 of June this year.
Hvar in the Adriatic Sea, an island with a large fertile coastal plain, and fresh water springs. Its hillsides are covered in pine forests, with vineyards, olive groves, fruit orchards and lavender fields in the agricultural areas. The climate is characterized by mild winters, and warm summers with many hours of sunshine.
