Arosa is located in a huge sunny basin with the peak of the Weisshorn Mountain rising up to 2653 m. The terrain around the three main peaks of Arosa - Hornli, Weisshorn and Bruggerhorn - is littered with chutes and cliffs. By European standards, Arosa is a medium sized resort with about 900 metres of vertical and 15 lifts including two cable cars. Its size is actually an asset.
