Cute "Die Sendung mit der Maus" (the show with the mouse) postcard... one of the oldest and most popular children's programs on German television... it has been broadcast on Sunday mornings since 1971... each episode consists of several short segments that present information that is straight forward, simple, and easy to understand... her recipe for success still works today... between the amusing and the educational stories, there are short cartoons featuring the mouse and/or her friends the elephant and the duck... the show has won more than 75 awards... for the 50th anniversary of the show a special stamp was issued with sweet matching postmark...
