The REPUBLIC of TATARSTAN ~Naberezhnye Chelny~

Before I received this card I never heard of The Republic of Tatarstan....I think for most West European people Russia is an unknown part of Europe ....I think I can consider this as a new place on my list of countries...

Naberezhnye Chelny means made of stone in Bolgar language and is the second largest city in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.
The city is best known for its Kamaz truck plant, among the world’s largest. Also located at Naberezhnye Chelny is the Lower Kama hydroelectric station. Because of these developments, Naberezhnye Chelny experienced rapid growth beginning in the 1970s.
