NEPAL ~MOTW ~

...Nice postcard from the MOTW series... not really a big fan from all those different "series" postcards... but this design I like... Nepal has the greatest altitude change of any location on Earth.... the lowlands are at sea level and the mountains of the Himalaya are the tallest in the world...the majestic towering peak of Mount Everest rises to 8,850 meters and is the world’s highest peak...  home to eight of the world's ten highest mountains... therefore it is often called "the roof of the World "... Nepal, is a landlocked country in South Asia lying along the southern slopes of the Himalayan mountain ranges. It is located between India to the east, south, and west and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north.

Kathmandu is the nation's capital and largest metropolis.
