... Wonderful night view of Wat Suthat... one of the oldest and largest Buddhist temples in Bangkok, famed for its beautiful roofline, huge golden Buddha, magnificent frescoes and giant swing out front... the towering 21.15 m red teak wood Giant Swing standing at its entrance was used as part of an ancient ceremony... its 2 towering red pillars and elaborately carved crossbar can be seen from afar... over the years, the swing has been replaced and remodeled a handful of times... the most recent reconstruction was in 2007, and it hasn’t changed since... Wat Suthat also holds the highest royal temple grade... nice to hear from you again Jobbo and to read that Thailand is controlling the spread of COVID-19 really well... Thanks a lot ! (✿◠‿◠)
