... Holiday season has started (lucky me👍😉)... got a bunch of wonderful vacation postcards from dear postcard friends... from Dustin's trip to France💚... Glenn cruising in Europe💚... Gian Luca and Rafaella travelling in Japan💚... and one more from Greece by Andrene💚... it will take a few days to post them all on my blog... starting with lovely views of Split, one of the leading tourist destinations in Croatia... the Old city of Split is one of the oldest in the world... a city that connects culture, history, natural beauty, and incredible scenery... Thanks a lot Glenn!!【ツ】
Split is the second largest city in Croatia (after Zagreb), and the largest city in the region known as the Dalmatian Coast on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea.

Split down town was originally built around the Diocletian palace a mansion house built for the retired Roman emperor Diocletian, where the local population sought refuge centuries ago.

In 1979, the historic center of Split was included into the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
