SRI LANKA ~ Mural - Kelaniya Temple ~

... Lovely wall painting of Prince Dantha and Princess Hemamali bringing the Gautama Buddha's tooth relic hidden on her hair to Sri Lanka... this Buddhist Temple is a famous pilgrimage spot in Sri Lanka where it is believed Lord Buddha once visited... Thanks a lot Ravindra!!【ツ】

The murals depict various stories about the Buddha and the aspects of the philosophy he preached.

Kelaniya Temple is located in the city of Kelaniya on the banks of Kelani River.
