SINGAPORE ~ Supertrees - Gardens By The Bay ~

.... Amazing view of "The Supertrees"... the Garden's most eye-catching feature... it almost looks like a scene from a sc-fi movie... the trees are illuminated when the sun goes down...  then the light-music show begins, with bright colors that change according to classical music pieces... it must be ✵magical✵... the highlight  is the 128m long aerial walkway which connects two of the Supertrees offering a different view of the Gardens from a height of 22 meters... Big Thanks Jobbo!!ヽ(ヅ)ノ (No postcard thieves here... they are posted on the blog(◕‿-) )
Situated on a huge 101 hectares of reclaimed land right in the heart of Singapore, Gardens by the Bay consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden.

There are a total of 18 Supertrees (vertical gardens) measuring between 25 and 50 metres tall, 11 of them embedded with environmentally sustainable functions like photovoltaic panels to harvest solar energy. Part of the harvested solar energy is used for lighting up the Supertrees while the rest is integrated with the Cooled Conservatories and serve as air exhaust receptacles. They are also designed to collect rainwater.
