... Nice front view of the museum renowned for its world-class collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painters... particularly works from artists like Claude Monet, Renoir, Pissarro, Morisot, Sisley, Cross, Signac... with 34 paintings by Claude Monet, nowhere else in Europe outside of Paris are more works by this artist to be seen in one place... the museum has become a major cultural landmark and offers a truly immersive art experience known for high-quality temporary exhibitions... one of the world's most important centres of Impressionist landscape painting... with cute stamp and special postmark honoring the children's classic "Guess How Much I Love You" by Irish author Sam McBratney... Thanks Dustin! (•‿•)

The Barberini Palace, which was rebuilt between 2013 and 2016, has been home to the Museum Barberini since 2017. The classicist-baroque palace was built in 1772 on the orders of Frederick the Great but had to be demolished due to severe damage during the Second World War.
The three-storey building of the museum has several exhibition halls, an event room and an entrance foyer. Museum education takes place in the basement.
The initiative for the museum came from Hasso Plattner, co-founder of the software company SAP.
