This site is dedicated to my hobby: collecting written and stamped (from country of origin) postcards! Postcard collecting is a very addictive hobby, but its a lot of fun, and you get in touch with lots of nice people worldwide...

COSTA RICA ~ Poás Volcano National Park ~
... Fantastic national park postcard nr 3💚... Poás Volcano is one of Costa Rica’s most accessible active volcano experiences... Poás gives you a dramatic, up close look into an active crater with minimal effort.... a turquoise-acid crater lake with cloud forest trails and high-elevation vistas... not only one of the largest craters in the world but also located in the forests of Central Mountain Range, which boasts magnificent natural landscapes... due to its location in a cloud forest, this Volcano often stubbornly hides behind a thick layer of cloud... Big Thanks dear Andrene!(✿ ♥‿♥) I've been spoiled once more with wonderful postcards and thanks a million for all the effort you and Ron made to find stamps!😘 Photo: Jean Mercier
Póas Volcano National Park was established in 1955 with an approximate land area of 1200 ha in Central Costa Rica. With the ratification of 1970 and subsequent extension of its territory in 1994, the extension of the park has reached 6506 ha.
