Roque Nublo, which means “Cloud Rock,” is a 65m tall volcanic rock on Gran Canaria. It was formed by a volcanic eruption around 4.5 million years ago. At 1813m, Roque Nublo is the third highest summit on the island.
Gran Canaria is the third-largest and second-most-populous island of the Canary Islands, an archipelago off the Atlantic coast of Northwest Africa which is part of Spain.
