... A stunning otherworldly landscape view made up of several dramatic landforms... a region with barren land, little vegetation and heavy erosion... where dinosaurs🦕 once roamed in colossal numbers and home to one of Canada’s most unique attractions, the
Dinosaur Provincial Park🦖... a place with hundreds of cultural, historic and scenic destinations... the Canadian Badlands has some of the darkest skies in the world and gorgeous sunsets... an excellent spot for astronomers and photographers... also home to the now endangered Short-Horned Lizard, Prairie Rattlesnakes, and the Small-Footed Bat... but they are still a relatively undiscovered gem... Thanks a lot Andrene!! And yes,🤞 for "finally" a better 2022😊 ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)

While Saskatchewan does have a small area of “Badlands” the most well-known Badlands and the largest area of Canadian “desert,” is located in Central and Southern Alberta along the Red Deer River, with the heart of the Badlands lying around the city of Drumheller. The Canadian Badlands were formed more than 13,000 years ago through a process of vigorous erosion of its sedimentary rocks.
