SINGAPORE ~ Pasir Panjang ~

... Nice aerial view of the past... a so totally different postcard of Singapore as the one I posted last week... it transformed from a poor, southeast Asian metropolis in the 60's into one of the most developed and wealthiest places in the world...Thanks a lot Jobbo!!❁◕ ‿ ◕❁

Pasir Panjang is an area located in the southern part of the Queenstown in Singapore.

The name Pasir Panjang appears as "Passir Panjang" in 1851. The Malay word pasir panjang literally means "long sand", a reference to the long sandy beach that stretched along the coast in this area.
