Located northeast of Piaui state, the Seven Cities National Park has an area of 6221.48 ha with a perimeter of 36 km. This National Park is known for its rock art and unusual rock formations, Sete Cidades contains seven rock outcrops, called cidades (cities)
The Park was created in order to preserve natural ecosystems of great ecological relevance and scenic beauty, making possible the realization of scientific research and the development of educational activities, environmental interpretation, eco-tourism and recreation in contact with nature.
