ISLE OF MAN ~Ramsey~

Second fantastic card from The Isle of Man...sometimes it can take ages to find someone to swap with and than you meet such nice people who sent you even two great cards from a rare place ...
Thanks so much James!!!

And I LOVE the Tour De France Edition 100 stamps. (Issued 19-06-2013)

Bicycle racing is one of the most popular sports in my country...and I love watching the Tour De France now, with Mark Cavendish :D!!

Ramsey is a town in the north of the Isle of Man. It is the second largest town on the island after Douglas. It has one of the biggest harbours on the island, and has a prominent derelict pier, called the Queen's Pier. The city is in the sunniest area of the Isle of Man, with relatively low rainfall.
It was formerly one of the main points of communication with Scotland. Ramsey has also been a route for several invasions by Vikings and Scots.

Ramsey is also known as 'Royal Ramsey' due to royal visits from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1847 followed by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1907.
