BELGIUM ~ Art & History Museum - Brussels ~

... Nice view of a top piece of the museum... the Sarcophagus of Khonsutefnakht... on the sarcophagus, several scenes are depicted.... this kind of wooden sarcophagus cover is typical of the late Egyptian period... one of the star attractions at the museum are the collections of Egyptian sarcophagi... the Art & History Museum is a historic building, and one of the biggest museums in Belgium founded by former Belgian King Leopold II... with wonderful matching stamp😊 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the death of Jean Capart (1877-1947), the founding father of Belgian Egyptology and great special first day postmark👍... (the stamp sheetlet is cut in a special way that allows it to be folded into a pyramid)... Nogmaals Hééél Erg Bedankt Johan! ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)
