GERMANY ~ House of Bavarian History - Regensburg ~

.... Great view of a very modern museum in a modern building... located directly on the Danube, next door to the old town... as could be expected, the museum’s architecture has had mixed reviews... covering the last two centuries of Bavarian history in over 2.500 m²  exhibition area... Regensburg’s new landmark is the first museum to offer a concise, chronological overview of events in Bavarian history... it displays circa 1.000 objects in the time span from 1806 (Kingdom of Bavaria) until the present time... with the help of digital media, the museum invites visitors to interact... with nice First Day postmark and the Lion, the heavily symbolic heraldic animal of all of Bavaria,.. Thank you Dustin!ヽ(ヅ)ノ

On 5 June 2019, the Museum of the House of Bavarian History opened its doors in Regensburg.
It is part of Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte (Munich) which is financed by the state government.

The erection of the building and the interior cost c. 95 million Euros.
