... Beautiful nature view of one of the many high-mountain lakes... Andorra is surrounded by nature... more than 90% of the territory is free from urbanisation and there are 70 spectacular lakes... the Tristaina Lakes are some of the best known lakes in Andorra... the area around these lakes is a popular hiking destination... not only because there are many options to go for a swim or dip your feet in the water of one of the lakes or the little rivers that flow between the lakes... but also because it’s so accessible, and even though it’s quite an easy hike it is a very beautiful one... it is a circular trail that takes about 2 and a half hours with gentle ascents and descents...this postcard is with stamp from the Spanish postal service... Tristaina' trio of Lakes are located in the extreme north west of Andorra close to the main Pyrenees divide. The three lakes of the area are “Estanys de Tristaina”: estany Primer, estany de Més Amunt, and estany del Mig.
