Sri Lanka ~ Barberyn Lighthouse - Barberyn Island - Beruwala ~

... Great scenic lighthouse view situated on a small island among many palm trees... a slice of paradise nestling in the Indian Ocean... the tower stands at the edge of a cliff battered by waves and wind... built to serve as an aid for navigation, and to warn marines of hazardous coastlines... a ten minute boat ride will take you to this lighthouse, away from the bustle of the mainland... Barberyn lighthouse is still active and open to the public... Thanks a lot Ravindra!!¯\_(ツ)_/¯
