UK ~ The Peak District National Park ~

...A variety of lovely nature views and a great new addition to my National Park collection.......it was Britain's First National Park and an outdoor paradise for visitors...it is also the the world's second most visited National Park...Big Thanks Andrene!!¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Peak District is located in the central northern part of England, covering more than 1,437 km² parts of the counties of Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and South Yorkshire.

This National Park  is an area of great natural beauty with rugged, peat-covered moorlands and magnificent limestone dales, with picturesque towns and villages, historic churches and some grand houses.

 The Peak District was designated as a National Park in 1951.
