....On Saterday I went to a pre-sale stamp event by Bpost near to where I live... it was very busy mainly because off the release of new Tin Tin stamps (one of the most popular items to collect according to the postworkersヅ)... these stamps where issued for celebrating "The weekly Tin Tin magazine" that would have been 70 years old this year... the sheet of stamps was based on the front cover of the second issue of the magazine... but probably my all time favorite new stamps will be on the blog tomorrow...(◕‿-)
The Castafiore Emerald is the twenty-first volume of The Adventures of Tintin, the comics series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. It was serialised weekly from July 1961 to September 1962 in Tintin magazine.
Tintin magazine was a weekly Franco-Belgian comics magazine of the second half of the 20th century. Subtitled "The Journal for the Youth from 7 to 77", it was one of the major publications of the Franco-Belgian comics scene and published such notable series such as Blake and Mortimer, Alix, and the principal title The Adventures of Tintin.
Originally published by Le Lombard, the first issue was released in 1946, and it ceased publication in 1993.
