USA ~Molokini crater - Maui ~

...Fantastic view of a crescent shaped island...clear, aqua-blue water..... an ocean paradise... some of the clearest water for snorkeling anywhere in the world...it is a marine sanctuary below water and a bird sanctuary above water...do I have to say more??? This is for sure a "dream" location ✈...Thanks a lot Rafal!!

Molokini is one of only three volcanic calderas in the world. Located just a few miles of Maui's rugged Makena coast, it is Hawaii’s only island marine sanctuary. Scientists believe Molokini Crater formed about 150 thousand years ago.

This small  island  can only be accessed by tour boat. According to the Hawaii Snorkeling Guide, Molokini is said to have some of the clearest water in all of Hawaii with visibility depths of up to 200 feet. Molokini is a state-protected animal sanctuary and no fishing is allowed.
