Ho Chi Minh City , commonly known as Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam and the former capital of the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam).

This palace built in 1966 was the home and workplace for the President of south Vietnam.

The Reunification Palace was the site of a dramatic finish to the Vietnam War as tanks crashed through the main gate on the morning of April 30, 1975. The building hasn't been renovated since the take over of communists in 1975.
