USA ~International Postcard Week 2014~

...Back to blogging after a week being sick (flu and bad ear infection)...a lot of catching up to do... starting with great "self designed" cards for this years International Postcard Week!
Brenda smiling ◔͜͡◔ in front of a giant postcard on Palm Beach, Florida airport.

Surprise card nr 2 coming from Brenda...A wonderful cartoon illustration by artist Rick Geary!
Limited edition #14 of 250...Thanks a lot Brenda!!

Kansas is known as the "Sunflower State," and it is not uncommon to see sunflower fields like this one in the area.
Thanks Dana!

And two cards coming from Demaris... Looks a delicious recipe for chocolate mousse! Thanks Demaris!

Fantastic drawing with great story...For six months in 1969, Niagara's American Falls were turn off by the Army Corps of Engineers. Part of the that time workers cleaned the former river-bottom of unwanted mosses, drilled test-cores in search of instabilities and a temporary walkway was built twenty feet from the edge of the dry falls. Tourists were able to explore the landscape. Thanks Demaris!

Hello in several languages...Coming from Phillips, a small very scenic town of about 1.000 people! Limited edition #7 of 100...Thanks Cindy!
Coming from the Arizona Desert...Known for its high heat in summers and Spring the rest of the year. Thanks Kathi!

  2. Gerda, I hope you're feeling a lot better now. That's a great group of cards you received. I, too, got one from Brenda. It was the Rick Geary card.
