ITALY ~Rome - Fountain of Trevi ~

...Another one of Rome's wonderful tourist attractions...Legend says that you will return to Rome if you throw a coin into the water... (You should toss it over your shoulder with your back to the fountain)...
I once did it so I hope to see it again one day...^__^ Thanks a lot Yana!

With special great stamp:
this stamp is a sticker from a private mail company called
"Globe Postal Service (GPS)" (they can not be mailed in
 a regular mail box).

The Trevi Fountain is the most famous and most beautiful fountain in all of Rome. This impressive monument dominates the small Trevi square located in the Quirinale district.

This fountain, inspired by Roman triumphal arches, is the largest  Baroque fountain in Rome (standing 25.9 meters high and 19.8 meters wide). and it has a long and rich history.

The fountain gets it’s name from the fact that it sits at the junction of three roads or in Italian “tre vie”
