Ta Som is a small temple located with many interesting features. It was built in the 12th century to commemorate the father of the king (Buddhist). The structure of this temple has the features of Bayon style. It is a single tower surrounded by three enclosing walls.Although more or less un-restored the temple is still in very good shape, with some very fine details.
Angkor Wat is the largest Hindu temple complex in the world. the whole area as Angkor Wat, the entire area is called Angkor and includes many temples and sites in addition to Angkor Wat. It was the capital of the Khmer empire from the 9th - 14th centuries.
