KYRGYZSTAN ~The Kyla-Kul Lake~

...This breathtaking nature view is my 1st card received from Kyrgyzstan... I really know nothing at all of this country that seems to have a breathtaking natural beauty... With its vast and unaffected wilderness it is home to the world´s 3rd highest mountain range... In total, there are almost two thousand lakes in the country with a total area of almost 7000 sq. km. Most of them are small mountain lakes...

Kyrgyzstan is a landlocked and mountainous country located in Central Asia and bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the southwest and China to the east. Its capital and largest city is Bishkek.Kyrgyzstan is one of the former Soviet Union republics, which declared its independence in 1991.
