FRANCE ~The Vézere Valley-UNESCO~

I must be with the lucky ones today because a lot of Belgian postal workers are still on strike (last friday also) but I got my mail today!!:D:D

Another great UNESCO card arrived today... Its my second one from France whitin a few days...

In Dordogne in the heart of Black Périgord The Vézère Valley, cradle of prehistory classified by UNESCO is a magnificient valley.
Decorated Grottoes of the Vézère Valley is a complex of caves famous for its cave paintings. They contain some of the most well-known (Upper Paleolithic) art, dating back to somewhere between 15,000 and 13,000 BCE. They consist mostly of realistic images of large animals, including aurochs, most of which are known from fossil evidence to have lived in the area at the time.
